Susan Kim Jespersen Scott

Susan Kim (Jespersen) Scott, 60, of Rogers, AR passed away December 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born April 4, 1957 in Atlantic, IA to Donald and Dorothy (Andersen) Jespersen.

 

Susan was a barber/hair stylist in Bentonville, AR for over 30 years. Her devoted customers meant so much to her. They were her world. She was always thinking of others and was fiercely loyal to her family and countless lifelong friends.

 

Susan was raised on an Iowa dairy farm and learned the value of hard work which proved to be evident in all aspects of her life. She had a gift for growing beautiful flowers which were enjoyed by all. She graduated from high school at Elk Horn-Kimballton Community School in Elk Horn, IA. She attended American College of Hairstyling in Des Moines, IA.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jespersen; grandparents, Knud and Dena Jespersen, Hans and Emma Andersen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Susan is survived by her son, Keith Scott of Bentonville, AR; grandson, Kason; her mother, Dorothy Jespersen of Rogers, AR; three sisters, Diana Lindsey of Des Moines, IA, Peggy Woolard and husband, Larry of Bentonville, AR and Donna Bame and husband, Charles of Rogers, AR; one brother, Ronald Jespersen of Bentonville, AR; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Brian, Brooke, Tyler, Jonathan, Thomas, Ryan and Abigail and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

A visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Friday, December 15. 2017 At Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.
