Quanagene D. Moore, 87, went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2019. Quana was born July 24, 1932, in Godley, Texas, to the late Andrew and Pearl Wells Dorough.
Quana was dearly loved by her family and was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known by her family and friends for her beautiful spirit, love for others, her pride in her Texas roots and her dedication to the Dallas Cowboys.
She met her husband of 42 years, Donald while living in Fort Worth and they were married in Japan, while he was serving in the United States Air Force. After many adventures, they settled in Arlington, Texas where they raised their family. After his passing in 2001, Quana moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where she resided until 2017 and attended St. Bernard Catholic Church. Quana most recently lived at Primrose in Rogers, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; brother, Wesley Dorough; and sister, Juanita Miller.
Quana is survived by her daughter, Kathy Greear (Scott) of Rogers, Arkansas; son, Neil Moore (Patti) of Hutto, Texas; her five grandchildren, including Christopher Greear, Sarah Greear, Andrew Greear, Patrick Currie and Andre Currie; and one great-grandchild, Andrea Currie.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2019 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.
Internment will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery alongside her husband.
