Kenneth Edwin Baker died Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in Bentonville. He was born June 8, 1959, in Hot Springs, AR to Kenneth and Margaret Baker. Ken graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 1977. In 1988, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from College of Saint Francis and in 1992 completed his Juris Doctorate degree from University of Arkansas Little Rock. He spent 19 years employed at Walmart in the Real Estate and Energy departments. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Gayle Baker; daughter Kristyn Dixon of Oklahoma City, OK; grandson Baker Dixon; brothers James of Rogers, AR and Billy (Joey) of Hot Springs, AR, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at First Landmark Baptist Church, 206 SE 28th Street, Bentonville on Sunday, September 15th at 2:00 pm. Razorback attire is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Highland Oncology Group, Mercy Hospital, and Circle of Life Hospice for their wonderful care and support. Ken was a friend to anyone he met and his love for others is only surpassed by his love for the Lord and the Razorbacks. His uplifting spirit, kindness, and conversations will be greatly missed.
