Welcome to the memorial page for

Clarene Mosley

November 19, 1936 ~ August 28, 2017 (age 80)

On August 28, 2017, Clarene Mosley passed peacefully from this life into the waiting and loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Clarene’s love for her family was only surpassed by her love of our Lord Jesus Christ. The only legacy she desired was to see her family and friends follow Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior as she had done early in her life. Clarene had a magnificent servants heart and was the happiest when she was in the kitchen preparing meals for her family and friends. While she enjoyed going out to eat pizza, and had an unsurpassed love of all things chocolate, her absolute favorite thing to do was to prepare her famous meal of chicken and spaghetti and homemade rolls which was cooked countless times for all. But more than the cooking, she wanted her friends and family to fellowship together. Her eyes would just sparkle when her entire family was sitting around the table praising her for her wonderful labor of love.

Clarene worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. for 30 years and retired from the company in 2015.  Additionally, her lifetime included hours and hours of volunteer work at Cross Church in Rogers, sewing and doing alterations for friends and family, and being a beautician in her own beauty shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Walter Smith; her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Vareta Smith; and her daughter, Sharon Mosley Culpepper.

Clarene is survived by her husband, Paul, daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Patrick Plum of Bentonville, AR; grandchildren, Renae and Ryan Burt, Jason and Ashley Styles of Springdale, AR, Michael Styles of Bentonville, AR, Eric and Miranda Cochran and Joshua and Leslie Nix of Georgia.  In addition, God blessed Clarene with 13 great grandchildren and countless friends from around the world.

Clarene loved everyone she met and they loved her as well.  She leaves behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and a beautiful family that will strive to honor her legacy by continually serving Jesus and loving people.  Although her family mourns her absence from this world, they rejoice that she is no longer experiencing the shackles of earth and is walking unhindered with the One she lived her life to be with.

Burial will be at 2:00PM, Friday, September 1, 2017 at Shiloh Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Texarkana, AR.
