Abel Puga, 75, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 12, 1942 to Rodolfo and Maria Puga.
In 1970, he married Amanda Ferreiros and had two children together, Fernando and Mariana.
Abel was proud to work for Phillips 66 and eventually, Chevron-Phillips, for more than 35 years. He started working in sales for Phillips 66 at the Buenos Aires office in 1970, he then retired in 2007, when he was in the Chevron-Phillips headquarters in Houston, TX.
He was a family man, that enjoyed walking outdoors, reading, cooking asados, and doing woodworking projects for the house. He was especially proud of the three bookcases he made.
Abel is survived by his loving wife, Amanda; two children, Fernando Puga and Mariana; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.
Memorial Mass will be held at 5:00pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville with the Msgr. Scott Marczuk officiating.
