Donna Jean Weakley, 79, of Garfield, AR died
peacefully Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Bentonville, AR.  
She was born September 4, 1935 in Walhalla, North
Dakota to George and Edna Laidlaw.
She married Dave Weakley in 1964 in Napa, California
where they owned The Valley Bible Book and Music
Store. In 1977 Dave and Donna moved to Springdale, AR
where they opened the Homes and Land Real Estate
magazine and both worked at Washington Regional
Hospital.  After retiring in 1993, they moved to Holiday
Island and enjoyed boating, RV’ing with Good Sam RV
Club and eventually moved to Garfield, AR.  
Donna was a dedicated and generous individual who
loved painting and loved her family.  She was passionate
about the Lord and spending time with her children and
grandchildren.  She was kind and soft-spoken, and always
had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no
matter how small.  She is dearly missed by her loved
ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with The
Lord.  She was an active and dedicated member of the
Assembly of God Church and while living in Garfield
joined the Lost Bridge Community Church.
Donna is survived by her husband of 50 years, Darvin
(Dave); sister, Doris Owen of California and children,
James D. Weakley, Joanne Ramirez and husband, Ernie,
Cheryl Ann Borgo, all of California and John D. Weakley
and wife, Kris of Bentonville, AR; numerous
grandchildren and great grandchildren.   
Memorial services will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, August 8,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers.
Burial will be at a later date at the National Cemetery in
Fayetteville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of
Life, Legacy Village, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway,
Bentonville, AR 72712 or the Nazarene Church at 505
NW 5th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712 or Lost Bridge
Community Church, P.O. Box 233, Garfield, AR 72732.

their care and dedication.
