March 28, 1968 - July 3, 2013
Georgia Wisner Sherrill, 45, of Rogers, Arkansas, left this
world on July 3, 2013, at MD Anderson Medical Center in
Houston, Texas, after a valiant and courageous battle with
breast cancer. Georgia was a friend to many and was
lovingly referred to as “Geo.”
Georgia was born at Mt. Home Air Force Base, Idaho, on
March 28, 1968. She grew up in Kensett, Arkansas, where
she was a gifted athlete and member of the North Pulaski
High School Class of 1986. On May 25, 1988, she married
her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Robert
Sherrill, whom she affectionately called “her rock.” She
played basketball at the University of Central Arkansas and
Texas Wesleyan University, where she graduated in 1990.
While in college, Georgia began working for Sam’s Club as a
Cashier. Her Walmart career would span 25 years and end
with her most recent promotion in April of this year to Sr.
Director of Global Integrated Processes. She was committed
to her professional development and in 2009 completed a
Master’s Degree at Webster University, graduating with High
Honors and was selected as Outstanding Student.
Georgia was a devoted mother to her three girls: Emily (16),
Madison (14) and Rachel Grace (8). Together with Robert
they enjoyed camping, four wheeling, beach vacations,
attending school and sports activities, and were avid
NASCAR fans (Go #24!). She loved traveling, shopping, and
spending time with her friends.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home and
her three amazing girls, Emily, Madison, and Rachel Grace;
father Ben Wisner and his loving partner Ann Skinner of
Cabot, Arkansas; mother Stella Bird Wisner of Columbia,
South Carolina; younger brother and sister-n-law, Dennis and
Marsha Wisner of Greenwood, Arkansas; beloved nieces and
nephews Abigail, Molly, Nicole, Lucas, and Jesse. She was
preceded in death by her big brother, Gary Wisner, in April
of this year.

Georgia was an angel on earth. How lucky i was to be one of
the ones whose life she touched. I know that even going thru
the battles with her nothing can prepare you for a loss this
big. My Prayers are with you. God be with you all during
the trying time. May you find some peace and comfort
I was so shocked when I found out of the passing of

I had the honor and pleasure of being friends and a colleague
of Georgia’s. She was like a Beautiful Blusty Spring Day!
Always full of happiness and her positive outlook on life.
Georgia will be truly missed, but her vibrant personality and
outgoingness will ALWAYS remain with us. My prayers go
out to her family and friends. I love you Georgia. God bless
you all. Annella
Georgia was a very special person to a lot of people. She
offered me friendship and encouragement. She was a great
friend and cheerleader in my life. I tried to make sure she
knew I loved her very much. I will miss her. Robert, Emily,
Madison and Rachel Grace, I want to wish you peace to bring
comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories
to forever hold in your hearts. Thank you for sharing Georgia
Sherrill with me. Bea Floyd
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Georgia lit up a
room with her caring heart, terrific laugh, sense of humor, and
strong determination. She will be missed but her spirit lives

To the Sherrill Family, May God continue to keep you and
comfort you the rest of the family. It is my prayer that you
continue to find comfort in God.
Im sorry to the whole Wisner family.I always was close to
Dennis and the rest of the family and my thoughts and
prayers go out to him and the rest of the family
I just wanted to let you know that Georgia was one of my
favorite people at Walmart. I’m sure you will hear that
TON, but I can assure you that the sentiment is genuine. I
worked with Georgia for two years and was inspired by her
enthusiastic spirit, her kindness, and her courage. She always
took the time to make people feel good about what they were
doing...even for the smallest things. She really knew how to
celebrate every moment in life, and that alone was a
wonderful lesson for everyone who had the pleasure of
knowing her. I am so, so sorry for your loss, and I hope that
you all can just take deep pleasure in knowing that she made
a tremendous impact on the people she worked with. She
was truly a gem and will be deeply missed.
At the visitation and Celebration of Life ceremony, you will
hear certain words repeated over and over probably -
gracious, kind, considerate, loving, determined, trusted and
many more. That was your mother and wife. All of those and
more. She was an amazing woman and inspiration to cancer
survivors everywhere. I believe she is sitting at God’s right
hand by His throne. May He comfort you all in this trying
time. Trish Hoback
To Georgia’s family - I didn’t know Georgia very well;
however, I work with some of her dearest friends and I did
have opportunity to meet her and speak with her on many
occasions. I always found Georgia to be a breath of fresh air.
Although she had faced once of the worst illnesses, she was
always smiling and laughing and looked absolutely amazing. I
know her family and friends were her world and I am honored
to have known her for a short time. Your family is in my
prayers. Peace and love be with you. Debbie DeShields
A beautiful soul. It was my honor to have known her.
Robert, My prayers are with you and your family. God is
always with you and will give you the strength you need.

We will always remember Geo as the loving, caring and dear
friend. Abraham Lincoln said “in the end, it’s not the years in
your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” What a
beautiful life Geo had lived! I'm so blessed to have
known her and shared a brief moment with her! My most
sincere condolences to the family and to all who feel the loss!
Robert, I am so sorry to learn about Georgia...I LOVED that
girl and she was such an amazing woman. I would always
look forward to reading her Facebook posts because they
were “so Georgia” and made me laugh and smile...it was
awesome seeing that she was an inspiration to so many
people. Her story will live on in my heart. I feel truly lucky
to have had her AND you in my life during college--you guys
were so perfect! I’m sure the world will be blessed with
Georgia’s presence through those beautiful daughters of
yours. I’m sending you love and peace...and healing energy.
