Chester "Buck" Pyle, 73, of Marietta, GA, passed from his earthly life into his
eternal home to meet his Lord, Jesus Christ and to be reunited with his precious
wife Donna on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
Buck was born in Licking, MO, on November 7, 1941, to Chester and Gladys
Pyle. He grew up in the Silent Grove community of Springdale, AR. After
graduating from Springdale High School, Mr. Pyle attended the University of
Arkansas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
After graduating the University of Arkansas he spent over 45 years working in the
field of Animal Health. Buck loved what he did, and did what he loved. During
the span of his career he was honored as the Salesman of the Year by multiple
companies.
Buck was a man of faith, who put his trust in the promise of eternity assured by the
blood of Jesus Christ. During his life he was blessed to be a member of three
wonderful church families; Temple Baptist Church of Springdale, AR, Flat Creek
Baptist Church of Fayetteville, GA, and the First
Baptist Church of Huntingburg, IN. Throughout his Christian life, Buck was
always involved with teaching Sunday School classes to various age groups. He
cherished his relationships with the members of all of his church families, with the
most discussed and enjoyed being his adventures in
ministry with the High School youth of Temple Baptist Church.
Buck loved working. He never retired and was still traveling extensively up until
his health restricted his ability to get behind the wheel. His favorite things in life
outside of work were spending time on lakes playing in the water, fishing, canoeing
the rivers of Arkansas and Missouri (before it was cool), golfing, pulling for the
Razorbacks in everything and keeping up with the exploits of his nine grandchildren.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Gladys Pyle; and the love
of his earthly life, his wife Donna Fields Pyle.
Buck is survived by his son, Andy Pyle and wife, Kelly of Andrews, NC; his
daughter, Monica Greer and husband, Patrick of Acworth, GA; and grandchildren,
Ella, Nik, Brock, Teague and Simms Greer, all of Acworth; and Zack, Seth, Drew
and Adelia Pyle of Andrews; two wonderful Sisters in Law, Sharron Wooldridge
and husband, Sammy and Sue Crabtree and husband, Jimmie all of Bentonville,
AR; and nine nieces and nephews. Buck is also survived by his friend, June Smith
of Marietta, Ga.
Services will be held at 2 p.m, Monday, February 9th, 2015 at the First Christian
Church of Bentonville, AR. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., until service
time. The Reverend Cody Robertson will officiate. Graveside service will
immediately follow at the Bentonville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Zack, Seth and Drew Pyle and Nik,
Brock,Teague and Simms Greer.
CONDOLENCES
My heart & prayers have been & will continue to be with the entire Pyle family. I
have seen so much love within your family from pictures, posts, etc that it is
inspiring to know families still love & connect in the way that your family exhibited.
Buck was such a blessed man to have all of you...what more on this side of heaven
could he have desired? Absolutely nothing. May God Bless & comfort your hearts
as only He can. Love to all

My sincere sorrow for the passing of your dad. I considered him a true and trusted
friend who often provided wise counsel. His sense of humor was superb. His love
for Christ was evidenced by example. His presence at FBC Huntingburg will be
sorely missed. I truly believe that at a glimpse into Heaven today would find Buck
bowed in gratitude before the throne. May God pour His Mercy and Grace upon
you Pastor Bob Borden
I am deeply sorry to learn of the loss of your father Andy; your father in law Kelly
and your grandfather Zack, Seth, Drew and Adelia.
You all are in my prayers.
Love you,
Dot
Dear Family,
If all families could have a "Buck" many more would feel life much fuller and more
enjoyable. That smile and the gleam his eyes held is heavens gain. We miss him.
God bless you all.

Working with Buck @ Ivesco for many years was a great privilege, being Buck's
long time friends outside of work was a great honor.
