David Emory Newton, 54, of Centerton, AR passed away August 4, 2016.
He was born in Baltimore, MD to Dr. Joseph Emory O’Neal Newton and
Elizabeth (Kurz) Newton.

David graduated from Arkansas State University (Class of '84) with a
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. He worked for Walmart for

David was a faithful, active member of Grace Point Church in Bentonville,

David had a huge heart, and made room in his circle for everyone. He

and inquisitive conversationalist, he was genuinely interested in
understanding others' point-of-view, appreciating the differences of

was adept at making others feel accepted and important in his presence.
His friendly manner, his quick wit, and his Christ-like love drew others to
him. He was a man of character and boundless generosity. His family and
friends were always sure of his love for them.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth in 2011.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lezlie Hewitt Newton; one son,
