Noah Levi “Bud” Coop, 65, was born April 22, 1943 in Carthage, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord
August 12, 2008. Bud was an employee of Safeway in Kansas City for 18 years and retired from Cobb-Vantress
after 16 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and making woodcrafts for his family and friends. He
attended Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church since 1980 where he taught Sunday school, and was
very active in all church activities.
He is preceded in death by his father, Noah Levi “Si” Coop, mother and step-father, Vern and Ruth Snodgrass,
sister, Joyce Coop, and step- sister, Lois Snodgrass.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Barbara Kay Thompson, of the home whom he married March 17,
1961 in Kansas City, Missouri; one son, Noah C. Coop of Ft. Scott, Kansas, two daughters R. Christine Logue
of Bella Vista and Colleen Truong of Bentonville, eleven grand children; eight great-grandchildren; one brother
Sterling Coop of Utah, one step-brother Robert Snodgrass of Bella Vista.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM Friday at Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal
Church with Pastor John Dean officiating. Burial will be at Jane Cemetery in Jane, Missouri.
