Scott Sears Westerdale, 43, of Pea Ridge, AR died Friday, November 4,
2011 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was
born November 18, 1967 in Trenton, Michigan to James Frederick
Westerdale and Jane Walseth Westerdale.
Scott loved people and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He also loved sports; was an avid Yankees fan, was a Coach in youth
baseball for many years and enjoyed motocross.
Scott felt very blessed to have a loving family and so many wonderful
friends.
Scott worked at Preformed Line Products for over 18 years where he
made many friends. Scott was known for his hard work, dedication, and
great sense of humor.
Scott served in Desert Storm with the 101st Airborne Division and was a
highly decorated combat veteran.
Scott’s greatest joy was his children. He coached their ball teams, spent
endless hours at the motocross track with his son and loved watching his
daughter cheer and play basketball.
Scott is survived by three children, Kyle Westerdale, Abbey Westerdale,
T. J McClain, and the mother of his children, Melissa Westerdale, all of
Pea Ridge, AR; father, James Frederick Westerdale and wife Barbara of
Pittsburgh, PA; mother, Jane Potratz and husband Lowell of Carleton, MI;
three brothers, James Westerdale and wife Shelley of Sedalia, MO, Gary
Westerdale of Denver, CO, Brian Westerdale and wife Liz of El Paso, TX;
two step-sisters, Bobbie Burkett of Charlotte, N.C, and Jennifer
Christensen and husband Paul of Pittsburgh, PA; numerous aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at
Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00AM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at
First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge with the Pastor Bonnie Austin officiating.
Burial will be at 2:00PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with full
military honors.
Memorials may be made in honor of Scott Westerdale to Circle of Life
Legacy Village, 900 NE Verdant, Bentonville, AR 72712.
