Robert David Welch II passed away March 14, 2010 in the Circle of Life Hospice.
He was born December 4, 1935 in Rochester, Pennsylvania to Robert David Welch I and Sara
Beatrice Ganoe. He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in 1959 with a degree
in industrial engineering and worked in a Republic Steel plant in Chicago for 20 years. He
moved to Arkansas in 1988 where he met and married Deborah Ramage Welch in 1992.
Robert was a Mason and a member of the Rochester Lodge #229. He was a member of
Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, AR, a car enthusiast and amateur pilot. He loved to snow
and water ski and also to travel.
After retiring, he bought a poultry farm and enjoyed being a top producer for 9 years.
Robert is survived by his wife Deborah Welch of Bentonville, his father, Robert David Welch
and his wife Naomi of Rochester, PA; son, Robert David Welch III and his wife Diane Kreiger
Welch and grandchildren: Austin, Abygale and Anderson of Paradise Valley, AZ; son Scot
Welch of Phoenix, AZ; son Neal Welch of Las Vegas, NV and grandson Holden Welch;
step-daughter Stacy Reece and her husband David Reece of Rogers, AR and their children:
Josh, Ashley and Katherine Reece, all of Rogers; step-daughter KarrLa Spencer of Branson,
MO and her children Christian Spencer of Eugene, OR and Jeremy Spencer of Gulf Shores, AL.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Stockdale Funeral
Chapel, 2898 West Walnut, in Rogers with Jesse Roberson officiating.
