George Edward Usery, 66, of Rogers, Arkansas died August 2, 2011
at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR. He was born
November 3, 1944 in Poplar Bluff, MO to W.E. and Gladys O’Dell
Usery.
George loved Country & Western music, playing the guitar, taking
pictures, being on the lake in his boat and was an analytical thinker.
He retired from Johnson Controls Incorporate in December of 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his wife Veronica of the home; one son,
Stephen Usery of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Melissa Usery and one
granddaughter Bailey Flowerday of Farmington, AR; one step-
daughter, Kelli Harmon of Tulsa, OK; four sisters, Fay of
Albuquerque, NM, Melba of St. Louis, MO, Kay of Wentzville, MO,
and Bonnie of Rockledge, FL; and one half sister, Shirley of Roscoe,
IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society, 3291 South Thompson Suite D 104, Springdale, AR 72764.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 at 2:00PM
at Stockdale Funeral Services.
