Betty M. Staudt, 77, of Rogers, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Circle of Life in
Springdale. She was born September 19, 1932 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to Oscar Carr
and Janie Cassel Carr.
She enjoyed quilting and collecting arrow heads, and spent many happy hours playing card
games with friends. She loved to laugh and enjoyed a good joke. Betty was a volunteer
at the Salvation Army for over 10 years and a proud supporter of President Obama. She
attended First Christian Church in Rogers. Her children, grandchildren and extended
family were her source of joy.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Earnest Staudt in 1990.
She is survived by three sons, Danny T. Staudt and wife Shelli of Toledo, Ohio, Michael
E. Staudt and wife Leslie of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Russell D. Staudt and wife Sharon of
Norfolk, Virginia; nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; one sister in-law Sadie Carr
of Maysville, Oklahoma; brother in-law Monroe Betts of Dallas, Texas; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
No services will be held. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
