Joyce Smith Plumbtree, 69, of Bentonville, Arkansas died
Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.
She was born Joyce Pennington on September 14, 1941 in
Huntsville, AR to Bill Pennington and Dolly Ann Hull
Pennington.
She drove a school bus for the Springdale and Bentonville
School Districts for over 18 years. She spent many hours on
the phone staying connected with family. She loved her
family and will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by JD Smith and Marilyn Smith in
2004; one grandson, Brian Ridenoure; two brothers, and two
sisters.
Joyce is survived by her husband Donald Glen Plumbtree of
Bentonville; one son, Mike Smith and wife Michelle of
Bentonville; one daughter Karen Ridenoure and husband Earl
of Winslow, Arkansas; sisters, Ivy Boudrey, Jean
Curtsinger; several half brothers and sisters in the Huntsville
area; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Wednesday, June
22, 2011 at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
Graveside services will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, June 23,
2011 at Aurora Cemetery near Huntsville, Arkansas with
Pastor Marsha Cooley officiating.
