Scott Edward Needham, 36, of Centerton, Arkansas, died Tuesday,
April 12, 2011, at his home. He was born January 15, 1975, in Rogers,
Arkansas to Charlie and Avis Needham.
Scott graduated from Bentonville High School in 1993 and had a love
for the game of baseball. He was drafted by two major league baseball
teams, the Seattle Mariners and the Montreal Expos.
He is survived by his two children, Ivey Meadow Needham and Chase
Edward Needham of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his father, Charlie Needham
and mother, Avis Needham of Bentonville, Arkansas; a brother, Mike
Needham and his wife, Tammy Needham of Bentonville, Arkansas; a
sister, Tonya Maesch and her husband, Bub Maesch of Brazil, Indiana;
nephew, Jake Needham, and niece, Jaima Needham, both of Bentonville,
Arkansas, and nephews, Billy Maesch and Shawn Maesch, of Brazil,
Indiana.
A private memorial service will be held for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a special account has been set up to benefit Ivey and
