Edna Finigan McDonald, 87, of Rogers, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Northwest
Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born November 28, 1921 in Spokeplant, Arkansas to
Edward Clark and Odessa Stepp Clark.
She graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Nursing, class of 1947, and worked
as a registered nurse at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth for many years. She was an active
member of the Rogers Christian Church. Edna enjoyed gardening, cooking and serving others.
She was the happiest when the house was full and family was around. She was “the greatest”
and will truly be missed.
Edna is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Vernon McDonald; three sons, Michael
McDonald and wife Bobbette of Brownfield, Texas, Dennis McDonald and wife Deborah of
Rogers, Arkansas, Mark McDonald and wife Shannon of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter,
Patricia Ann McKee and husband Guy of Boerne, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great
grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Rogers Christian Church
with Minister Jack Galbraith officiating. Burial will be in the Benton County Memorial Park
Cemetery in Rogers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM Monday, November 16, 2009 at Stockdale Funeral
Services in Rogers.
