Bobby “Bob” Clark, 75 of Bentonville, died Friday November 27, 2009.
He was born September 20, 1934 in Avoca to Ray Clark and Irene Hays Clark.
Bob worked for Kraft Foods in Bentonville before a 20 year career as a professional truck
driver with Wal-Mart Stores. He received many Safety Awards and appeared in Sam Walton’s
book Made In America.  Bob was an active member of the Bentonville First Baptist Church
where he served as a deacon and drove the church bus for 30 years.  Most recently, he drove a
bus for the Bentonville Public School System for ten years.
Bob served in the Arkansas National Guard, Battery “A” of the 142nd Field Artillery unit in
Bentonville, enjoyed traveling, and had coached little league baseball.
Bob loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and was a lifetime resident of the
area.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Betty Clark of the home; three sons Larry Clark and his
wife Ladona, of Bentonville, Mike Clark and his wife Lynn of Bentonville, Marty Clark and his
wife Merrie, of Lowell; his mother Irene Lynch of Bentonville; a brother Billy Clark and his
wife Kathy of Garfield; five grandchildren Michael Clark of Fayetteville, Matt Clark of
Bentonville, Dan Clark of Bentonville, Courtney Clark of Bentonville, Anieca Clark of Lowell;
and one great grandson Dylan Clark of Bentonville.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday December 1, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of
Bentonville with the Rev. Phillip Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Twelve Corners Cemetery,
east of Pea Ridge.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday November 30, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Bentonville.
