Peggy Louise Chambers, 66, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away
Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in
Bentonville. She was born March 26, 1945 in Dallas Texas to Carl
Nathaniel Chambers and Lillian Ruth Chambers.
She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1963
and from University of Texas at Arlington 1975 with a Masters in
Social Work. She worked as a social worker in a number of places
around the country, including Waco, TX, The Dalles, OR, Miami &
Tampa, FL and most recently in Minneapolis, MN with APS for
Hennepin County. Peggy retired in September 2007 and moved to
Rogers, AR to be near her niece Debbi West and family.
Peggy will be remembered most for her love of family, her giving
spirit, her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor as well as her
love of taking pictures.
Cherishing her memory are her two sisters, JoAnna Flowers of
Sierra Vista, AZ; Carol Smith and husband Wendell of Montevallo,
AL; two nephews, Jonathan Smith and wife Jill of Dallas, TX,
Owen Skinner and wife Kelly of Snellville, GA; two nieces, Debbi
West and husband Ken of Rogers, AR; and Sarah Kelley and
husband Jason of Andalusia, AL.
Treasuring her enthusiasm for life are her great nieces and nephews,
Hannah & Lauren West; Austin, Savannah, Ashland, and Hudson
Kelley; Brighton and Jenna Smith; and Benjamin and Timothy
Skinner.
Memorial services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 17,
2011 at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, AR
with Rev. Edie Skalitzky officiating.
