The death of a loved one is the single most stressful
event that can happen to a person. The
accompanying grief is the way one works through
the loss. Grief is a very personal reaction and
grieving is duration of the grieving periods, and the
behaviors one uses to express grief can vary greatly
from one person to another and from situation to
situation. Yet, no one grieves very much unless
something of real value is lost. Grief and
bereavement are the processes of separation from
the deceased and the rebuilding of life in a new
circumstance.

GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group
for people who are grieving the death of someone close to
them.
